And so....

We are still without a camera that produces anything but blurry pictures, so.... I will just do a little typing to fill in the space.

Caleb...

is a great Bass player, and volunteered to be the Phantom of the Opera in his schools Halloween concert. He looked pretty good for a last minute costume, and played really well!

is in the middle of his 7th grade year, and all he can think about is how much he hates school and how much he can't wait until he is in High School. Obviously, he doesn't have the experience yet to tell him that High School is way harder than 7th grade, so if he thinks it will be all fun and games, he has another think coming.

is doing really well on his scouting. I wish scouting had merit badges for being nice to his parents, maybe he would work on that too. But, they say boys who get their Eagle grow up to make really good decisions in life. If that is so, go Caleb, get that Eagle. ps. Will they take a check?

Delaney...

is growing up faster than I would like. She asks me a lot lately if she looks cool. Uh-oh. She is already seeking approval at 4. What happens when she is 14?

is loving preschool. She and her little friend Gracyn tell me all the new things that teacher Jen teaches them on the way home each day, and I must say Delaney is learning quite a bit! Hooray for preschool.

got a haircut from her mommy a couple days ago, and mommy almost had a mega-fit. Try cutting a straight line with a little girl who can't sit still for more than 2 seconds at a time. And to make matters worse, we did it in my bathroom in front of the mirror. Bad idea. What makes a little girl who wants to look cool pose a million ways? A mirror! Stop moving Delaney. But I want to see if I look cool! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!

Deacon...

is truly 2. Now that we just had his birthday celebration, he has decided it is now time to act like a 2 year old. He has cried more in the last three weeks, than he has in his whole 2 years before that combined.

is shocking me in every way possible with how quickly he is learning new things and picking up on all we say. He sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and know which number comes next if you are counting 1-10, and a million other things. He is my little smarty pants.

is quite possibly ready to potty train. When we are out, and we need to use the public restrooms every 8 minutes (thank you Delaney), he wants to sit on the potty. When he is poopy, he says "eeew...butt, eeew...butt" to me. So today, I put him on the potty for the first time and he sat there for a minute, did nothing, and then said to me "wipe!" Wouldn't that be crazy if my son potty trained faster than my daughter?

Me...

just going crazy.

missing my family.

a slight bit Twilight obsessed (I knew I shouldn't have read those books!).

Chris...

bringing home a real paycheck twice a month.

making me miserable with all his snoring and popping and RLS at night.

still doing the dishes, because I hate to. Thanks!

Can't wait for the holidays! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Merry Christmas all! and finally Happy New Year friends!
